Complete Pew Refinishing and Restoration

We understand how important your church furniture is to you and your congregation. This is why we know you will only trust the best company to restore your pews.

For over 25 years, we have been mastering the techniques of restoring wood church furniture. We have developed a unique pew refinishing process that restores the beauty and richness of your wood church pews.

Pew refinishing involves more than just sanding and applying new finish. Our pew restoration process is customized to meet your church’s needs.

Our Complete Pew Refinishing and Restoration Process Includes:

  • rebuilding each church pew by hand,
  • replacing nails typically found in church pews with more durable screws,
  • repairing or replacing cracked wood within each church pew,
  • stripping each church pew to bare wood,
  • sanding all the rough or uneven spots, and
  • applying the highest grade of finish to bring out the natural beauty of your church pews.
We do each of these pew refinishing steps by hand to ensure that your church pews are not only beautiful but also able to retain their beauty and strength for many future generations to enjoy.

Revealing the Hidden Beauty of Your Church Pews

Paint and poorly applied finish hide the natural beauty of your church pews. No matter how many layers of paint or old finish your pews have, we can safely remove them all to expose the bare wood. Our refinishing process then revitalizes the wood, bringing out its natural beauty.

To make your church pews more comfortable, we can even install customized drop-in pew cushions, which also provide back support.

Pew Removal and Installation Processes

To ensure your church pews are restored to their optimal beauty and strength and to ensure environmental safety, we remove the pews from the church and transport them to our facility.

First, we disassemble each church pew prior to removing it from the church to reduce your transportation costs, improve handling during transport, and to ensure a superior finish.

We can better reach every surface of a disassembled church pew, allowing a more precise restoration of wood at corners and other connection points. Additionally, by disassembling the church pews, we can more easily repair and rebuild them, using new pew refinishing and construction techniques.
